Showroom Consultant

For over 70 years Ceratec has been a leading distributor of ceramic and porcelain tiles and accessories used in new construction and renovation in the residential and commercial markets across Canada. Guests visit our Selection Centres to be inspired, informed and educated. Our Showroom Consultant goes above and beyond to provide a “WOW” experience to our guests. Ceratec is currently looking for a flexible individual to join our diverse, fun, fast-paced, multifunctional environment. This creative self-starter must be passionate about our visitors’ experiences which are demonstrated through their positively infectious attitude

**Main responsibilities**:

- Use creativity to advise clientele of retailers, designers, contractors, and architects, in order to sell our products;
- Assist customers in assessing their needs, helping them in their choices and secure the sale;
- Provide world-class customer service while demonstrating a passion for design;
- Providing tile samples to clientele from our sample room;
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio, promotions and new products;
- Answering phone calls from customers with professionalism;
- Complete quotes in accordance with the procedures in place;
- Keeping showroom neat, organized and clean;
- Ensure all information is constantly updated and accurate;
- Check inventory and remove panels of discontinued products;
- Maintenance and replenishment of the sample room;
- Distributing the sample boards for the Territory Manager.
- Being able to lift up to 25 lb;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Minimal Requirements**:

- Is a mature and reliable team player;
- Minimum 1 to 2 years in customer service experience;
- Interior Design Training would be an asset;
- Computer experience required are Windows, MSOffice (Excel), Google Drive;
- Organized, polished, and friendly attitude along with having initiative are key to becoming successful in this position;
- Working Schedule: 40 hours/week,

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
