We'd love to have you on board Eddyfi Technologies is looking for an Accounting Technician to join our Finance team. **Your daily life**: As a key member of the team, you will manage and optimize inventory management (incoming and outgoing goods) to minimize stock levels without risking stock-outs. **In this role, you will**: - Plan, organize and participate in cyclical and annual inventory counts; - Enter inventory data into the computerized inventory management system; - Investigate and make inventory adjustments as required, explaining discrepancies; - Carry out analyses, produce statistics and make improvements; - Establish key performance indicators; - Recommend strategies, activities and methods to achieve established objectives; - Actively participate in the analysis of items at risk of obsolescence, duplicates and other item-related issues; - Monitor inventory surpluses and rotate stock to ensure optimal use and reduce obsolescence; - Locate or relocate products (current and future) in the warehouse to strategic locations and update locations; - Collaborate on various tasks under the responsibility of the warehouse, supporting or replacing colleagues as needed; - Ensure the integrity of documentation and processes in compliance with various regulations (WHMIS, transport of hazardous materials, occupational health and safety, etc.); - Participate in and lead (as needed) the improvement of business processes to support the company's growth. **What We’re Looking For**: - You have an attestation of Collegial Studies (A.E.C.) or a Diploma of Collegial Studies (D.E.C.) in transportation management, logistics or related discipline; - You have three years' relevant experience in a manufacturing company in one or more of the following functions: warehouse, inventory management and shipping/receiving; - You have good communication and interpersonal skills; - You have an excellent time and priority management skills; - You are organized and methodical; - You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team; - You have knowledge of inventory control and manufacturing operations; - You are analytical and you have problem-solving skills; - You are proficient in MS Office suite, Excel intermediate/advanced level; - You have computer skills; - You have knowledge of WHMIS (asset); - You have knowledge of SAP (asset). **You Will Be Offered**: - Flexible working hours; - New workspaces in an illuminated and modern working environment; - Three weeks minimum vacation upon hiring; - Five paid holidays (in addition to statutory holidays) during the close of business for the holiday season; - Five floating holidays per year; - Group insurance and a competitive RRSP program; - An on-site gym with fun "trainings" or yoga at lunchtime; - Catering service at affordable prices with employer contributions; - Reimbursement of contributions to a professional order; - Parking and electrical terminals; - Free coffee; - Entertaining activities organized regularly by the Social Club.
