Cad Technician/drafter

Browns is looking for a highly motivated CAD Technician/Drafter who will be responsible for drafting store layouts, producing construction drawings and plans for new and renovation projects.

**Requirements**:

- College degree in Architecture or Industrial Design
- 2+ years of experience
- Bilingualism (Spoken and written French/English).
- Organization, efficiency, and multitasking.
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be discreet, reliable, and highly disciplined.
- Strong technical skills, millwork preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, Office Suite, SketchUp and MS Project

**Responsabilities**:

- Product 3D models, update files for various projects and maintain furniture catalogue and construction details.
- Revise plans according to budget and landlord constraints.
- Review plans with design and project managers, contribute to optimizing department activities.
- Provide support in concept development.

**Exigences**:

- Diplôme universitaire en architecture ou en design industriel
- 2 ans d'expérience ou plus
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais/parlé et écrit)
- Organisation, efficacité et multitâche
- Bonne connaissance de la suite Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Doit être discrète, fiable et très disciplinée
- Solides compétences techniques, de préférence en menuiserie.
- Connaissance approfondie d'AutoCAD, de la suite Office, de SketchUp et de MS Project.

**Responsabilités**:

- Produire des modèles 3D, mettre à jour les fichiers pour divers projets et tenir à jour le catalogue des meubles et les détails de construction.
- Réviser les plans en fonction des contraintes budgétaires et des contraintes liées à la propriété.
- Examiner les plans avec les responsables de la conception et du projet, contribuer à l'optimisation des activités du département.
- Apporter son soutien à l'élaboration des concepts.

Browns is looking for a highly motivated Logistics Analyst that will strive to efficiently improve crucial aspects of our operations. Our distribution center is constantly evolving and possesses a highly sophisticated automated storage and retrieval system allowing efficient replenishment of all stores across Canada, as well as fulfilling all customer omnichannel orders.

**Responsibilities**
- Establish and monitor logistics key performance indicators.
- Evaluate new technologies to continuously improve our operations and further automate the distribution center operations.
- Participate in the distribution center expansion projects.
- Participates in the implementation of the ship from store project.
- Ensure fast and efficient fulfillment of omnichannel and store orders.
- Ensure inventory accuracy within the distribution center.
- Work with key projects stakeholders across departments and levels in the organization.
- Assist and participate in other Logistics department special projects.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics Engineering or equivalent
- 1+ years working experience.
- Bilingualism (Spoken and written French/English).
- Organization, efficiency, and multitasking.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strong business sense.
- Ability to independently move projects forward and see them through to completion.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex challenges in a clear and concise manner.

**Experience**
- Experience Excel / SQL queries.
- Experience with AutoCAD, reading drawings and layouts.
- Experience with the following types of software (ERP, WMS, WCS, OMS, BI, Tableau, PowerBI).
- Experience in designing warehousing layouts and procedures.
- Experience with implementing new and modifying existing processes, and accounting for change management.
- Experience in retail, logistics or warehousing.
