- Oversee and coordinate staff schedules, optimizing shifts based on business needs.
- Train, mentor, and supervise servers, providing guidance on guest interaction, order accuracy, and service quality with SPO provided by the company.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Monitor staff performance, address issues promptly, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Participate in staff recruitment and assist with the onboarding process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant, both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
- Assist in maintaining inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate for service.
- Manage cash transactions, handle cash register operations, and oversee payments.
- Communicate daily specials, promotions, and changes in menu offerings to staff.
- Work with the Manager on implementing health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Lead pre-shift meetings to update staff on menu changes, reservations, daily specials and other important information.
- Act as a resource for staff, addressing questions, concerns, and challenges.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment among staff members.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the Manager to ensure seamless service.
- Assist in handling unexpected situations, such as busy rushes or guest complaints.
- Participate in training to stay updated on industry trends and service standards.
- Contribute to creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Promote teamwork and a strong work ethic among staff to uphold the restaurant's reputation.
- Promote VIP card sales.
