**The Vein Treatment Centre**

**We are seeking a Permanent Part Time Sonographer to join our team of professional surgeons, doctors & nurses.**

As one of our Sonographers you would be responsible for performing venous ultrasounds, writing accurate reports and presenting findings to the surgeon/physician and reading radiologists.

**Job Type**: Permanent Part Time 3 days per week

**Salary**: Competitive salary based on experience

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm (this may vary)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Performing venous duplex scans (Doppler, vein mapping, post procedure, DVT checks, etc.)
- Write accurate reports and present findings to the surgeon/physician and reading radiologists
- Collaborate on treatment planning and assist in imaging-based procedures and surgeries
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care in an evidence-based manner
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**
- Registered and licensed active member of Sonography Canada
- 1-2 years of experience as a Sonographer in Canada
- Ability and flexibility to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment
- Engage with a fun, dedicated team, at the top of their field.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge/Experience in Venous mapping would be considered an asset, however training and mentoring will be provided to integrate into this role.
- Knowledge in the use of various ultrasound machines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-directed and committed to a positive work environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 24 - 27 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
