We are looking for a calm and respectful individual with a valid BST (or willing to get their BST) that enjoys working with people and being surrounded by amazing music and entertainment.

Job requirements:

- Valid BST certification (or willingness to get it)
- Serving It Right (SIR) certification an asset
- Experience in the bar/nightclub industry an asset
- Calm and respectful demeanour
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Clear communication with customers, management and coworkers

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- verifying identification
- deescalating situations and recording incidences
- Communicating with RCMP/Bar Watch, coworkers and management
- knowledge of SIR & BC liquor laws
- handling cash and administrative tasks
- assisting team members with cleanup and company procedure

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8-16 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- On call
- Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

Work Location: In person
