JTB is currently hiring for experienced Industrial Painters.

**Job Specifications**

**Responsibilities**
- Complete jobs using a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively as trained and required. o Operating and painting from lifts and ladders - being safety-minded and having experience working at heights is a must. o Experience operating a sprayer is not required. o Experience painting with rollers and brushes.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and complete minor maintenance as required.
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and coworkers
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials.

**Experience**
- Experience operating grinders and pressure washers and lifts is an asset.
- Experience cleaning trucks and equipment in an industrial environment is an asset.

- Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work with people in a variety of circumstances and from various backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess a thorough, organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
- High level of customer service
- Plan, prioritize and coordinate, multi-task, and complete work assignments within prescribed deadlines.
- Ability to foster a cooperative working environment.
- Must have the ability to work alone or with a team.
- Must have a valid BC drivers’ licence and reliable transportation.
- Expected to be able to travel between Chilliwack and Langley (outside of that carpooling can be arranged or fuel compensation provided)
- Must be available to Monday-Friday - start time is job dependent. Overtime/weekend work is available.
- Must be clean cut and presentable.
- Must have a good work attitude and focus on customer satisfaction.
- JTB Painting is a drug free and smoke free company.

**Physical Requirements**
- Hear and speak to communicate with others (must be proficient in English).
- Frequently lifting 30-60lbs, as required.
- Standing, sitting, and walking for most of the day, sometimes on uneven surfaces or on stairs or in a lift.

**Work Environment**

Most of the work is performed on industrial and commercial jobsites with possible exposure to dirt, dust, dampness, construction debris, possible extreme temperatures, noises, construction material fumes and odors. Employees are to be clean, respectful, and considerate always while on site representing JTB Painting.

**What you will need**:

- White painters’ pants.
- Paint grade respirator and filters.
- Steel-toed boots.
- Hard hat.
- High visibility vest.
- Exacto knife and spare blades.
- Sharpie.
- Running shoes.
- Rain gear for pressure washing.

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
