Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers/Companions. As a Caregiver/Companion, you will provide essential support and assistance to seniors in their homes or in assisted living facilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and personal hygiene
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing
- Accompany seniors to appointments, outings, and social activities
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting if required
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and ensure the client's safety and well-being at all times

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of hospice care, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities is a plus
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to seniors
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to different environments and work well under pressure
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $15.14-$20.97 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 20 per week
