Due to our growth, we have an immediate need to add an order picker, shipper & receiver to our dynamic and driven work team.

The Shipper & Receiver will have responsibility for accurately picking orders according to documentation, They will also be responsible for accurately receiving goods into our warehouse and storing them appropriately. Doing this in an efficient, productive and safe manner is of importance. Full duties and responsibilities outlined below.

Duties and responsibilities

Accurately pick and prepare products for shipment

Completing order picking, shipping, receiving documentation accurately

Responsible for accurately receiving and moving materials to warehouse storage

Organizing and prioritizing orders to be picked and printing shipping documentation where required.

Using software to generate documentation and shipping labels

Understand the importance of inventory control and assist with cycle counts

Responsible for quality control. Report and reject product outside of specifications.

Operate reach and counterbalance forklifts and stretch wrappers.

Frequent lifting of product cases up to 40 pounds

Comfortable working with tools and machinery as some assembly work may be required

Perform equipment preventative maintenance

Communicate well with co-workers and willing to assist others

Clean and maintain work and warehouse area

Operate within health and safety regulations and company policies

Assist in other areas of the plant when required

**Requirements**:
Valid G Driver's license required

Strong work ethic that includes leadership skills, is responsible and takes pride in their work

Forward thinking to maintain a clean, neat and well-organized warehouse

Can prioritize their workload to finish on a tight schedule

Effectively track work in progress

Detail oriented, can read and understand work orders and follow procedures

Inventory management experience is an asset

A self-starter capable of independent work but also work well in a team environment

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written

Must have previous experience working with machinery, hand tools and have basic mechanical knowledge

**Qualifications**:
No experience required

Physical requirements

This position is physically demanding. It requires repetitive bending, twisting and lifting of up to 40 pounds.

Education

High school diploma/GED required.
