Shunter Driver

Nour Transport has made a name for itself for over 20 years in the field of refrigerated transportation, having made deliveries to many well-known clients in the temperature-controlled industry. We offer trucking services to our customers in Quebec and Ontario. Our fleet of tractors, trailers and straight body trucks is constantly renewed so that our trucks are always in excellent condition.

**We're currently hiring class 1 shunter/driver with 1 or more years of experience for our St Laurent terminal**.

Task description:

- properly perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes and cold storage
- ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements
- administer bills of lading and electronically maintain log books
- ensure all invoices are sign by the customer and returned to the office, along with log book and mileage report
- ensure that all deliveries are transported and handled in professionally
- communicate with dispatcher and be focused on good customer service

**Experience**:

- Valid commercial driver's license
- Able to back up trailers efficiently and safely

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,100.00-$1,300.00 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
