With over 180 wines to satisfy any budget or occasion including VQA, premium and specialty wines and our world-famous Icewines, we sell directly to the consumer at winery-direct prices through our 13 independent stores in Ontario.

Magnotta Winery has a great opportunity for a Harvest Winery Labourer to join their production team at the Beamsville location.

**HARVEST WINERY LABOURER, CONTRACT (5-6 months+)**

As a Harvest Winery Labourer you will be responsible for:

- Operating, cleaning and maintaining equipment such as pumps, presses and the vacuum filter, under the direction and supervision of the Winemaker.
- Assisting the Winemaker and Cellar Lead Hand during clarification and fermentation processes.
- Cleaning, maintaining and repairing cellar equipment such as tanks, hoses, fittings, as well as water hoses and quick connections.
- Organizing, cleaning and maintaining the cooler storage in conjunction with the retail staff.
- Adhere to all health and safety work practices, procedures and PPE requirements.

**To be successful in this role, you must possess**:

- Basic manufacturing processes and knowledge of wine production.
- Basic maintenance and repair experience required.
- Previous cellar hand experience.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to physically lift up to 50lbs.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience operating forklift.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
