Ascent Helicopters is a dynamic helicopter charter company in Parksville, BC with an 18-year history of international operations. We work across a variety of industries including aerial fire suppression, mining/resource exploration and search and rescue. We specialize in the aerial powerline/utility and Air Ambulance industries. Ascent has recently been awarded a 10-year contract with BCEHS to provide rotary wing Air Ambulance service to the entire province.

With the growth the company is experiencing, Ascent is looking to add a General Labourer to help perform a wide variety of tasks, including administrative work, within the Company. The General Labourer will support our Stores department, while also performing other tasks such as airport drop offs/pick ups, deliveries, general labour around the hangar and facility, and any other task as assigned.

Position Requirements:

- Positive attitude with a desire to take on a variety of tasks and learn new skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Intermediate computer skills - ability to learn how to use different computer programs and perform basic research on internet.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and walking up and down stairs
- Attention to detail
- Valid passport would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
