**TLD Account Manager**
The position of TLD Account Manager is to develop and manage a portfolio of small, medium and large corporations, developing relationships with key client executives and representing the IT and AV Solutions and Services of TLD, a unique integrated offering for Western Canadian clients. The Account Manager will work with clients in a consultative model to assist them in making technology decisions for their organizations, which TLD can assist in acquiring, implementing, monitoring, and/or managing.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Maintain positive relationships with key decision makers in each account as well as build additional relationships within the account.
- Develop territory plans including target accounts, key account personnel, competitive analysis, account background and tactical steps required to win business.
- Interact directly with manufacturers, distributors and internal business units to bring technology information to clients in a proactive manner. Be creative in bringing together diverse resources in support of clients’ business requirements.
- Provide tasks, guidance and direction to the inside Assistant Account Manager (AAM) team whose role is to provide sales and admin support to the Account Manager's client portfolio in the areas of quote research and preparation, order entry and order management.
General requirements for this position will include:
- Post-Secondary education preferred
- Sales and business training
- Experience in the AV or IT sectors required, one year minimum, both ideal.
- Experience using CRM and Sales Opportunity Management tools
- Strong selling skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Sound judgment and ability to effectively problem solve.
