**Design Sales Consultant / Sales Representative / Designer**

HMC is seeking a full-time Design Sales Consultant / sales representative / Designer focusing on sales. The position is in North Vancouver, BC.

Individual must have an eye for design, be self-motivated, and organized, have great attention to detail, and be able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Previous 1 year window covering, Drapery, Blinds, design experience is preferred and product knowledge is an asset.

Individual will be utilizing product knowledge and design experience to provide customers with product selections, including product styles, fabric, and colour choices. A key element of this position will be maintaining relationships with customers, developing new relationships, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

The position will also be responsible for the entire sales process including initial contact with customers through ordering products, arranging installation, and client satisfaction follow-up.

Individuals must have strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities for this role include:

- Provide design assistance for all HMC customers, selecting products, styles, and materials as needed.
- Analyze customer’s requirements, create layouts, and recommend products
- Generate proposals and pricing for potential projects
- Visit client sites and maintain continuous contact with customers throughout the project to maintain the business relationship and resolve any potential problems
- Follow and generate leads, make sales calls, and keep in contact with existing customers.

- Maintain product knowledge through continuous education and seminars
