CGC Inc. is currently hiring a Mine Electrical Technician Co-op for our Hagersville plant.

Position Description:

- Conducting preventative maintenance programs and updating maintenance records.
- Interpreting readings taken from electrical testing equipment.
- Working on assigned projects such as building and installing lighting systems, fiber optic cable installation, and equipment rebuilds.
- Performing housekeeping duties as required and maintaining a clean workstation.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in the Electrical Engineering Technician (Power) program.
- Possesses fundamental knowledge of AC and DC power systems and controls.
- Capable of reading and interrupting wiring diagrams and schematics for electrical equipment and heavy mobile equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Well organized and demonstrates the ability to work safely.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to work as a team.
- Able to work in an underground mine environment.
