**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and soil to various job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper weight distribution for safe transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported.
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Perform basic maintenance on the truck, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
- Assist in the operation of heavy equipment as needed, including forklifts.

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation; experience with forklifts is a plus.
- Basic automotive repair skills are preferred to perform routine maintenance on the vehicle.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading materials.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
