**SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST**

**JOB SUMMARY**

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for leading the financial consolidation and reporting for our Canada legal entity which includes a large manufacturing facility and two service centers supporting the production and servicing of Clyde Union pumps globally. In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, this role will be instrumental in providing financial data analytics on key topics such revenue, margin, price, cost, working capital, capex, and strategic initiatives tracking to Site leadership to help develop the appropriate strategies to grow the business. This role will report to the Site Controller.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead month-end closing activities, including financial reporting and analytics
- Lead financial project controlling preparation for monthly project reviews
- Support Site Controller & Site leadership with performance reporting calculations and monitoring of various analytics (e.g., Revenue, Standard Margin, Other Cost of Sales, SG&A, Shippable Backlog, Book and Bill, Absorption, Purchase Price Variances, Utilization, Productivity, etc.)
- Coordinate and review quarterly forecast submissions from business sites
- Support the completion of Annual Operating Plan
- Active participation in monthly and/or quarterly outlook calls with the business sites
- Improve reporting processes to enhance and optimize month end closing and financial reporting
- Assist Finance and Site leadership with special projects as needed

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Audit experience, preferably Big 4 Accounting firms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of financial modeling
- Strong analytical and communication skills required
- Strong business and financial understanding with the ability to analyze financial statements
- Ability to process large volumes of data to create valuable information for decision making purposes
- Experience with SharePoint and Power BI preferable
- Energetic individual with a clear sense of urgency
- Ability to work well under deadlines and to deliver results on time
- Self-starting with good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented matrix environment that is fast-paced and demanding

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting required
- Minimum 8+ years of diverse financial accounting experience in the areas of cost accounting, operations controlling, general accounting, FP&A, and internal controls
- Knowledge of Hyperion / HFM accounting software
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP preferable
- Successful track record of challenging finance and accounting courses and/or projects
- Proficiency with integrated business software (ERP) preferably experience with SAP
- Ability to interact with management in a proactive and professional manner
