**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
JR Parts Technician is responsible for the reconciliation and inventories of spare parts, consumables, PPE and materials used by STEP Energy Services at applicable locations.

This role is highly customer service related and requires an organized and efficient individual to maintain many moving targets and goals as well as deliver results in a timely manner.

Efficiency in this role is essential in maintaining the standards outlined in the process and procedures that STEP follows to maintain an Exceptional Employee Experience and an Exceptional Client Experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Issue inventory out of the storeroom as required
- Participate in creation of stock orders and requisitions
- Participate in quarterly inventory and prep for inventories
- Transfer inventory as required
- Receive purchase orders in a timely manner

**WHAT WE REQUIRE**:
**Education**:

- Indentured into the parts technician certification is required.
- Enform H2S Alive, First Aid/CPR, TDG, WHMIS, Forklift operation, loader training, Aerial Lift, Overhead Crane, ½ and full mask fit test, audio logical testing and other training as required by HSE or Human Resource departments

**Key Competencies**
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook to enable competency in all aspects of day to day operations involving spreadsheets, reconciliation and daily communication
- Provide Excellent Client Service to both internal and external clients
- Mechanical, electronics and hydraulics components knowledge
- Work as part of a team with strong interpersonal communication skills - written and oral.
- Strong ability to organize daily tasks and work within defined timelines to meet operational requirements
- Organized and efficient with well-developed problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office and ERP system experience and asset

**Related Experience**:1 - 2 years oil & gas

**Class 5 driver’s license**:Clean driver’s abstract is required with no learner conditions.

**Physical ability**:You will perform hard manual labor.
