Job Title: Concrete Batcher

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Operate batching plant equipment to produce concrete according to specified mix designs and quality standards.

Monitor raw material levels and communicate with suppliers or internal teams to ensure adequate inventory.

Perform daily plant start-up and shut-down procedures, including inspections and record keeping.

Maintain accurate batch records, scale calibrations, and quality control logs.

Work closely with quality control, dispatch, and plant personnel to coordinate daily production.

Support scheduling and dispatch of concrete deliveries when required, including driver communication and load coordination.

Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Report any equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with plant maintenance and cleanliness as needed.

**Qualifications**:
Previous experience as a concrete batcher or working in a ready-mix plant is preferred.

Knowledge of concrete mix designs, materials, and batching processes.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with batching or dispatch software is an asset.

Experience in dispatch or logistics coordination is a strong asset.

Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and industrial conditions.

**Additional Information**:
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Calgary, Alberta.

Standard work hours may vary based on production and delivery demands.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
