**What You Will Learn**

- Website maintenance & updating

**Duties**
As a Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in executing various initiatives. Your duties will include:

- Working with the marketing team to implement short and long-term marketing and advertising campaigns in alignment with the marketing departments initiatives and goals: Support marketing project development, assist with reviewing content and campaigns for alignment with the Brand, manage supplier content for the campaigns (including copywriting), assist with the curation of client lists for distribution based on agreed-upon parameters, ensure material is consistent with marketing strategies and plans, maintain promotional material inventory/database and calendar, assist with content review (proofreading)
- Assist with the maintenance of digital assets and collateral: preserve all assets used for digital and social and ensure everything is saved in the appropriate folders (Sharepoint and Dropbox or any other designated corporate system), source appropriate and targeted images and artwork, format & upload copy and images to digital channels, testing
- Communicate with the internal team
- Participate in team meetings and provide suggestions regarding modification of campaigns, material, or initiatives based on data or research.
- Work with other corporate functions to maintain the client database for Marketing purposes
- Adhere to the marketing calendar(s): create or modify content as needed, utilize software as appropriate for the task, work on the development of paid campaigns (scheduling, content, providing backup for invoicing, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned

**Experience**
- In-progress Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- Must be a critical thinking self-starter with experience working independently
- Moderate proficiency in Excel and Wordpress
- Ability to analyze, understand, and interpret research results
- Creativity
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills, specifically written communication
- Analytical & problem-solving skills

This internship is designed for individuals eager to build their marketing expertise while contributing meaningfully to our team's success.

**Job Type**: Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON L5C 4P4
