**Your days will include**:

- Aiding the research and development team in weighing and tagging pigs for ongoing trials in Sow, Nursery and finishing barn.
- Entering data of research findings
- Assisting in preparing for carcass evaluations
- Assisting in barn data collection for live animal prediction of quality defects
- Position will be based mostly in hog barns and an office setting
- Occasionally assisting in carcass evaluations at processing plant

**To succeed in this role, you must possess**:

- Livestock handling experience would be an asset
- Experience in ImageJ or other image processing software would be an asset
- Currently enrolled in a university cooperative education program
- Student currently enrolled in their 2nd to 4th year of Agriculture or Science
