Are you looking for an opportunity in Accounting where you can continually grow and learn, with a Company that is fast-paced and stable? This is that opportunity; we are adding an **Accounting Associate** to our team

**Accountabilities**:

- General accounting support
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Processing and receiving purchase requisitions, maintaining P.O log, matching P.O’s and packing slips
- Processing of invoices for payment (entering vouchers/posting), running of cheques,
- Preparing various reports
- Account analysis and reconciliation
- Handling vendor invoices, compiling audit documentation, job cost and profit analysis and cost tracking
- Back-up coverage for reception
- Other accounting duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related accounting positions such as accounts payable, book keeping, general accounting background
- Post-secondary education in accounting/finance is required
- Excellent data entry and computer skills - Excel, Word, and an understanding of ERP systems
- Good communication and problem solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and organization skills.
- Reliable and a team-player
