**Job title**: Cook

We are located in the rural region on Main Street W., Winchester, Ontario K0C 2K0 and urgently need experienced, motivated and innovative cook. This is a challenging position where you will be required to work in a fast pace environment.

As a full-time cook, the applicant should be a team worker, punctual, proactive, outgoing and dependable.

As a cook your main duties and responsibilities will be:

- Prepare and cook fast food menu items as per A&W standards;
- Adhere to food handling procedures and kitchen equipment use protocol.;
- Clean, peel, slice vegetables using manual appliances;
- Ensure the menu are prepared and cooked to accommodate customers with food orders;
- Prepare different kinds of meats using grill and fryer;
- Ensure quality of products meets established standards;
- Draw up production schedule to determine type and quantity of goods to produce;
- Work cooperatively with other members of the kitchen team;
- Ensures high standards of sanitation, personal hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the baking and dough area; and
- Liaise with colleagues about flow of service, maintain hygienic food preparation work area.

- Must have good communication with line cook and supervisor
- Must be skilled in time management.
- Must have motivational skills.
