Sid Grabell Contracting Limited, based in the Niagara Region, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Tool Crib/Material Receiver who will manage tools, incoming and outgoing material and supplies for a fast-paced electrical contracting business. You will organize and perform periodic physical inventory counts and initiate re-stocking. You will also be responsible for the organization of the shop, yard, and all storage locations.

**Job Functions**
1. **Tool Management**:
- Document, manage and control tool cage and inventory;
- Keep tool crib organized and clean;
- Maintain, repair and clean tools when coming back from job sites.
- Report damaged and/or broken tools using established repair processes.
2. **Material control**
- Receive requests from Project Managers and field staff with job material requirements, gather and prepare inventory as requested;
- Ensure materials are marked, ready and available for projects when required;
- Check incoming received shipments for damage and accuracy, report issues as soon as possible.
- Ensure that stock is well organized;
- Perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Monitor and maintain current stock inventory levels, advise re-order when necessary; including reconciling stock counts to computer generated reports;
- Process and document material returns as required following established procedures;
3. **Yard Maintenance**:
- Keep yard organized, clean and free from clutter;
- Ensure outdoor stored material is marked, ready and available for projects;
- Ensure equipment is returned to its allocated spot in the yard;
- Ensure garbage and scrap bins are monitored for fullness, arrange for disposal when required;
4. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services and inventory control;
- Experience in material handling an asset.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data;
- Ability to analyze and solve problems;
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork;
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods;
- Working knowledge of NetSuite, Excel and Word
- Operate Basic Hand Tools and Powered Hand Tools: Drills, Cutting Torches, Drills, Grinders, Welders,

**Working Conditions and Physical Effort**
- Considerable physical activity. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.;
- Work is normally performed in interior/warehouse and outside yard environment in all weather.
