Cedar Grove in Duncan is looking to hire a full-time Crane Truck Operator.

**Duties**:

- Maintenance of all required documentation to include: Pre and Post trip inspections on vehicle, crane, and rigging
- Maintain all truck logs of working hours, addresses of loads, and service and repair status. All concerns re: vehicle must be reported to your manager
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks when needed
- Train others when required
- Any other job-related duties as needed

**Attributes**:

- Working alone/independently or in a team
- Safety oriented, always use required PPE
- Customer Service aligned, communication in English written and spoken, required
- Good math skills
- SDCB forklift experience so you can aid in loading/unloading deliveries
- Stays calm with changing priorities or stressful situations
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
- B-Ticket/Crane Safe Certificate

**Required**:

- Able to drive a manual truck
- Clean, Current Drivers Abstract (also required yearly)
- Good knowledge of Vancouver Island
- Physically able to lift/move up to 80lbs
- Airbrake endorsement (Z)
- Minimum class 3 license
- At least 2 years’ experience operating Hiab Cranes preferred

**Work Conditions**:

- Indoors, outside in all weather conditions
- Driving between branches and work sites
- Sit for extended periods of time while delivering loads, no long-haul driving
- Work can be labour intensive and fast paced
- Monday - Friday day shifts 7:00am - 3:30pm (maybe some opportunity for over time)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
