**Moldmaker Machinist Job Description**

**Job Overview**:
Our unique mold making facility in Maple Ridge, B.C. is looking for an experienced Moldmaker Machinist to work along side a team of professionals.

It is a full-time opportunity working for a long-established company with low employee turn over.

**Responsiblilities and Qualifications**:

- CNC operating +programming considered an asset
- Surface grinding/mold polishing/EDM
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
- Perform machining operations including milling, turning, and welding as needed.
- Utilize hand tools, milling machines, lathes, and other machinery to fabricate molds according to specifications
- Assemble mold components and ensure proper fit and function
- Conduct quality checks on finished molds to ensure they meet company standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
