Why CompuCom? (Overview):
The Pharmacy Automation Field Technician is an entry level role that will provide on-site support to external customers using pharmacy automation equipment. This position will be responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of automated pharmacy machines and/or equipment.

Working days:

- Monday to Friday

Shift timings:

- 8:30 to 5:00 PM EST

Location:Peterborough, ON, Canada

What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

- Troubleshoots, repairs, and provides maintenance to automated pharmacy machines and/or equipment on customer site in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Adjusts machine settings according to specifications to complete tasks accurately in a timely fashion
- Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.

Who You Are (Qualifications):

- Associate's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanics, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in related field
- Experience working with a multitude of tools
- Electro-mechanical background
- Able to communicate effectively both written and verbally, with key stakeholders, leadership, partners, team members, other organizations, and customers
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control aspects of automation systems
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Demonstrated capability to achieve results in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
