Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Business Insights Analyst to join our client.

Contract Dates: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Range: $55.48 to $63.20 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities:

- Utilize a strong understanding of business strategies to conduct data analysis that supports organizational goals and objectives
- Develop analyses to highlight business trends and identify potential opportunities for growth
- Produce actionable insights and recommendations to address business challenges and align with strategic objectives
- Provide specialized knowledge and mentorship to various business partners, fostering collaborative relationships
- Serve as a key analytics resource, translating business requirements into actionable analytics and reporting needs
- Execute data requests promptly and accurately, delivering day-to-day analytics support and guidance
- Lead project teams by providing technical and business context for analytical challenges while promoting collaboration and effective risk management

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

- 5+ Experience in business or financial reporting/business insights and analysis development, is knowledgeable and savvy with new technology and tools preferably within the global financial services and back-office operations
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- 5+ Hands-on experience in using business intelligence, analytics and/or data visualization tools (ex: Tableau)
- 2+ Experience with Python, Databricks
- 5+ years SQL
- Strong team player who fosters and thrives in an environment of peer development and sharing
- Strong analytically anchored problem-solving skills - a logical and strategic thinker with strong critical reasoning skills, proactively identifies risks and issues, recommends solutions, challenges the status quo
