**DESCRIPTION**:
The Learning Business Partner is a member of the Learning Team within the People function at Saje. In this role, you will support leaders across the business to develop leadership skills that will enable the performance and growth of their teams. The Learning Partner works closely with the Learning Programs Manager and People Team to identify, inform and adapt development experiences that equip Leaders and Team Members at Saje to grow and be successful.
Through day-to-day functions, the Learning Business Partner, contributes to maintaining and strengthening Saje’s culture; proactively engaging in behaviours that align with Saje’s values: Wellness, Growth, Celebration, Greatness and Belonging.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**COACHING & CONSULTATION WITH LEADERS - 50%**:
- Establishing and maintaining positive partnerships with Saje people leaders
- Consulting with and advising leaders on how to support performance and growth while helping to remedy obstacles to learning
- Identifying performance and development challenges and opportunities while partnering with stakeholders across the organization
- Coaching and upskilling people leaders and stakeholders with knowledge and resources to support their team’s development
- Connecting leaders and stakeholders with relevant learning programming and resources that support their team needs and goals
- Inspiring a culture of learning where leaders and Team Members are empowered and equipped to drive their development
**DEVELOPING LEARNING CONTENT - 25%**:
- Partnering with the Learning Programs Manager to design, develop and evaluate learning solutions and experiences
**FACILITATION - 25%**:
- Facilitating a range of learning experiences (on site, virtual and blended) to support leader and Team Member development including skills workshops, induction sessions, etc.
**APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS**:
- Exceptionally skilled at identifying and translating learning needs and themes from partner conversations into development of learning experiences and resources
- Experience working closely with Human Resources Business Partners to create effective learning solutions
- Relevant credentials in human resources, learning and development, adult education and/or coaching certification considered an asset
- Knowledge and experience with coaching techniques to support professional growth
- Experience supporting the development of customer-facing, distribution and support office populations within the Retail industry
- Experienced leadership development facilitator with engaging presentation skills
- Demonstrated instructional design experience and familiarity with digital design tools (i.e., Articulate 360 course authoring tools, Adobe suite or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to exercise effective judgment and navigate sensitive situations
- Excitement and commitment to create values-driven learning experiences that drive growth and support business objectives
