The opportunity

An unprecedented opportunity to play a critical role in the production of people related analytics within the People & Culture team at CWB. In this new role the Manager, People Analytics will engage with HR leadership, business leaders and other data and systems experts to provide operational reporting and insights which will transform people data into business value. This vision of turning insights into impactful action is supported by leveraging data systems that will be created, maintained, and optimized through products including Workday and PowerBI dashboards.

With accountability for maintaining a high level of data governance, the Manager will ensure the highest level of data quality is reached and maintained. Key deliverables

CWB’s People & Culture team is in the process of expanding its People Analytics team to deliver high quality metrics and insights that inform impactful business and people decisions. This position will play an important role in both the creation and maintenance of dashboard, reports, including managing regular operational functions across CWB.- Develop and maintain analytics and reports for People & Culture and business leaders- Build out Workday & PowerBI reporting and dashboard functionality in accordance with the People Analytics strategy- Design, develop and maintain dashboards for People & Culture and business leaders in a way that provides insights that enable impactfuland effective decision making- Maintain core HR metrics and provide assistance with the development of insights, including turnover, talent acquisition, and board reporting- Provide reporting and analytical support for People & Culture program, including performance management and inclusion & diversity- Plan and develop complex reports, and perform all technical activities related to the People & Culture operational and analytics reporting in Workday and PowerBI- Demonstrate high level of analysis skills by fully taking advantage of strong mathematical, statistical, and programming background in order to build data models and dashboards to help with analyzing people related data- Considers the needs and acumen of recipients of analysis and ensures deliverables are insightful and intuitive- Produce regular operational (monthly, quarterly, and annual reports) for multiple stakeholders’ across CWBFG- Collaborate with internal and external team members in the preparation of campaign reports and other hoc reporting projects- Participate in analyzing people related data to align with the strategy of turning people data into business value through insights that inform impactful action- Participate in identifying business opportunities when conducting data analysis to support effective business decision making- Develop and maintain operating manual related to analytics and reporting- Develop user competence with using Workday and PowerBI reporting functionality- Streamline reporting across the People & Culture function

Successful incumbent

This role requires an analytical intellectual with deep confidence in their knowledge and capabilities. Expert level understanding of large and diverse data sets. An Excel master with exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills, with the adeptness to identify the root causes of people changes and subsequent impacts to business and strategy. This role requires Workday and PowerBI reporting experience that translates to a People First culture. Working multiple priorities with tight deadlines and mounting pressures from all stakeholders, this focused analyst is a fast learner who is resourceful and proactive. Success will be measured by solution accuracy and quality in terms of value add to the business.
