Are you an animal lover with a flexible schedule? Do you enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active, and giving pets the care they deserve? Dog Jogs, one of the largest pet care companies in the Edmonton Region, is looking for dedicated and dependable individuals to join our team as Dog Joggers

We’re proud to be the **only company in the area that specializes in solo walks and jogs for dogs**. This is especially important because we work with many **reactive dogs** who need the undivided attention and personalized care that solo walks provide. We don’t walk packs of dogs—each dog receives the focus and care they deserve, with a maximum of two dogs from the same household per walk or jog.

This isn’t just a job—it’s a way to brighten the lives of pets and their humans while enjoying exercise, furry companionship, and plenty of puppy and kitten kisses.

What You’ll Do:

- **Care for Pets**: Visit clients' homes to jog or walk dogs and care for cats. Responsibilities include feeding, refreshing water, administering medication, and scooping litter boxes.
- **Solo Walks & Jogs**: Unlike other companies, we specialize in one-on-one walks and jogs, so you’ll build strong connections with the pets you care for. You’ll be walking or jogging just one or two dogs at a time, all from the same household.
- **Capture the Fun**: Snap adorable photos and videos during each visit for updates to pet parents and Dog Jogs’ social media followers.
- **Provide Peace of Mind**: Send detailed updates through our app to show clients how much their pets are loved.
- **Tackle Variety**: Your day may include dog jogs (yes, actually jogging), walks, cat visits, and occasional tasks like blog writing, social media content creation, or community outreach.
- **Show Off Your Day**: Share your adventures on our Instagram stories.

What We’re Looking For:

- **Availability**: At least three days a week between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday and one weekend per month. Typically staff work between 15-25 hours a week.
- **Commitment**: Minimum one-year commitment, with legal authorization to work in Canada.
- **Age**: 18+ (due to insurance requirements).
- **Fitness**: Ability to jog 6-10 km/hour and walk 3-15 km daily.
- **Reliable Transportation**: Own a dependable vehicle and be comfortable driving in all weather conditions.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Own a smartphone with data.
- **Resilience**: Comfortable working outdoors in Edmonton’s varying weather.
- **Security**: Able to provide a current and clean police record check.

Compensation:
Starting wage is **$15/hour plus client tips**, with opportunities to earn more based on hours worked. Many team members earn up to **$800/month** or more while doing what they love

- While we strive to keep our staff working closer to home, some days we need help in different areas we service. We service all of Edmonton, St.Albert, Sherwood Park, Ardrossan and Beaumont, are you willing to drive to these locations?
