SAJ Therapy is a private occupational therapy practice providing services to individuals of all ages, with a focus on children and youth in Toronto, Durham & York regions. We support with individuals living with neurodiverse, orthopedic and mental health conditions, including those who have been injured in serious motor vehicle accidents. Service locations vary from clients’ homes, schools, workplaces, clinics and in the community based on each individual’s dynamic needs.

SAJ Therapy is expanding I am looking for a Rehabilitation Support Worker to provide engaging, innovative and evidence-based services to our clients. If you are caring, creative, and have an entrepreneurial spirit, I'm looking for you

**Position Details**:
This role provides an opportunity for growth and to learn how to run a successful private practice through clinical and administrative responsibilities.

**Clinical duties**:

- Implementation of treatment plans in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist and/or other rehabilitation providers
- Assisting with the research, sourcing and implementation of equipment/assistive devices
- Providing education and training to clients and caregivers
- Observing, monitoring, communication and documenting rehabilitation progress
- Development of educational materials for client use under occupational therapy supervision

**Administrative duties**:

- Assist with the creation and maintenance of client files
- Assist with preparation of treatment plans in HCAI system
- Assist with preparation of referrals to healthcare providers
- Conduct and prepare written file reviews and summaries for rehabilitation reports
- Editing of occupational therapy reports and documentation
- Assist with implementation and maintenance office systems

**Location**: Hybrid with in-person community-based client sessions in Toronto, Durham and York regions

**Here is what you need to be successful**:

- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program or education in occupational therapy/occupational science (preferred)
- Previous experience working as an OTA or in a relevant healthcare setting
- Knowledge of automobile and private practice setting, an asset
- Experience and interest in working with children, youth and adults
- Experience with equipment provision under supervision
- Comfort with computers and knowledge of various software platforms
- Excelling writing and editing skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Vulnerable sector screening check
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Valid Drivers License and use of a reliable vehicle
