Once Upon A Child Nanaimo is an independently locally owned and operated children's new and used resale. Our mission is to provide a fun and convenient way to buy and sell gently used kids' stuff while focusing on quality, safety and value. Once Upon A Child Nanaimo is looking for customer service oriented sales associates. Responsibilities will include ringing sales, processing returns, answering phones, assisting customers, tagging, Pricing inventory, communicating the buy process to our customers as well as communicating inventory needs to our customers, and any other tasks associated with a sales associate position. This is an entry level position.

**THE RIGHT CANDIDATE MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA**:

- Great customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work independently & take direction from supervisors
- Ability to handle customers with sensitivity
- Ability to work at a fast pace with accuracy (multi-tasking is essential)
- Must be able to effectively communicate the Buy Policy to our customers as well as inventory needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.65 per hour

Shift:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings
- Morning shift
- Night shift
