**Summary**:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Team Leader is tasked with the general supervision during a shift. The Team Leader acts as a liaison between the employees and management and ensures that all work is being performed in a safe and timely fashion and that records of such are kept in an organized and easily traceable manner. The incumbent must conduct all business in manner the supports the mission, vision and values of the Fort McKay Group of Companies LP. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires completion of pre-employment testing

**Key Focuses**:

- Directing daily activities of all Logistics staff, providing leadership, motivation, and coordination to the group and all external clients.
- Address all needs of directed reporting personnel including performance management, training, and development.
- Delegate tasks to all workers and set deadlines accordingly in conjunction with business activities
- Train, supervise, co-ordinate and schedule daily activities of workers
- Establish methods to meet schedules and coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers;
- Collaborate with the Logistics supervisors to identify, implement, and lead improvement opportunities.
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
- Prepare productivity and other various reports
- Order materials and supplies from approved vendors as required;
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**:

- Completion of a High School Diploma is required.
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business Administration or other discipline is considered an asset.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience managing staff in a Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehousing environment is required
- A valid Class 5 License (or equivalent) is required, along with a satisfactory 3-year Drivers Abstract.
- Experience in a Unionized environment is an asset.
- CSTS and OSSA or CSO or BSO are required.
- Knowledge in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
- Experience in SAP is considered an asset.

This is full time position located north of Fort McMurray, AB on Aurora site.
Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
