Georgian Paving Ltd. is a leading civil construction paving contractor in Simcoe County, and our diversification allows us to manage various projects from provincial highways, county, township, city and commercial servicing. Our people take pride in determining our customers construction/paving requirements, providing cost effective solutions, and managing the project to ensure customer satisfaction.

**Successful Applicants will possess**:

- Strong work ethic.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Previous experience in road building/heavy civil is an asset.
- Ability to work occasional night shifts and Saturday's as needed.

**Duties/Tasks**:

- General labourer duties associated with road construction.
- Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
- Operate equipment as needed.
- Equipment clean-up as needed.
- May be called upon to run small power tools.
- Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
- Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
- Follow instructions from supervisor and/or manager.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Overtime as required.
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Use of personal protective equipment is required.

**Location**:
Simcoe County, may require some occasional travel outside Simcoe County.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
