**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking.
- Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with meal preparation and cooking methods within the food service industry.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to assist others in the kitchen.
