We are a small ISO-registered medical device manufacturer located in east Toronto. We are experiencing multiple years of double-digit sales growth and are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our dynamic team.

**Position**: Quality Control Technician/ Sorter

**Job Type**: Full-time - Temporary / 4 Months Contract Position with Possible Extension
**Schedule**: Day shift Monday to Friday and willingness to work overtime

**Salary Range**: (18$- 20$)/hour + overtime
**Work Location**: In person - North York, Toronto, ON, Canada

Raz Design is looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician / Sorter who can join quality team and help maintain our compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 Standards and internal requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support QC related activities including outbound / inbound inspection based on AQL sampling
- Perform various dimensional check, visual inspection, sorting and data entry, etc.
- Generate return goods authorization reports for any defect found in incoming parts
- Produce statistical quality reports and analyze to identify trends
- Support production by resolving quality issues
- Coordinate with Supply Chain for incoming QC priorities
- Drive continuous improvements within the QA / QC programs
- Interpret and analyze statistical data to identify trends
- Read and follow work instructions, work rules and directions
- Comply with all employee policies, QMS procedure and other company processes
- Coordinate with Quality Control Coordinator for hesitant issues
- Assist production staff with solving quality issues
- Other duties can be assigned as per need

**Qualification and Skills Requirements**:

- Quality Management education (college diploma or higher with Mechanical Engineering background)
- Minimum 1 year work experience in a manufacturing environment in a Quality Assurance / Quality Control position (medical device experience is preferred)
- Proficient in the use of the 7 Basic Quality Tools - ASQ for process improvement
- Ability to read, interpret and understand mechanical engineering drawings with GD&T
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be proficient working with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities
- Must have a high attention for detail
- Able to work in a fast paced and time-sensitive environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
