Regional Recycling operates several busy, high-volume recycling depots and we’re looking for - **1 Full-time Commercial sorter**: - **1 Part-time Bottle sorter**: - **1 Full-Time Yard Attendant** Join Regional Recycling Abbotsford team and help keep our planet green **WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR...** - Physically fit and able to lift up-to 40 lbs. repeatedly. - Comfortable using android tablets. - Comfortable operating various equipment. - Able to work as part of a team and independently when needed. - A problem solver and someone who shows initiative. - High commitment to personal safety and the safety of the others. - Previous work experience in a warehouse is a bonus, but not required. **WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO** Reporting directly to managers, employees at different roles will work in a team to perform tasks such as: **COMMERCIAL SORTERS- (Hiring x 1 FT & 1 PT)** - Greeting customers, taking in and sorting products for recycling, issuing payments. - Taking in and sorting products for recycling and issuing payments. - Sorting through, counting, and tracking empty beverage containers. - Operation of High-Speed Counting/Sorting machines, candensor and tippers to crush large volumes of aluminum cans and other products. - Maintaining cleanliness of the Machines and keep a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff. - Other tasks as assigned by the managers or supervisors. **YARD ATTENDANT- (Hiring x 1 FT)** - Responsible for general yard clean-up, manual lifting, pushing bins, and sweeping. - Maintaining cleanliness of the facility and a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff. - Able to purchase metal from the customers and processes it. - Other tasks as assigned by the managers or supervisors.
