Zund Operator

We have an opportunity for a full-time Zund Machine Operator to operate and produce custom fabric shapes. This position will utilize a large format digital fabric fed machine with a very high level of automation and technology. The Zund Cutter Operator requires machine set-ups and operations, calibrating equipment and measuring tolerances. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always meet standards of production. What You’ll Do: -Works from most complex verbal or written process/production specifications, instructions, diagrams or models of higher-level technical personnel. -Responsible for the output and condition of Zund Cutter. -Effectively set-up, run, and troubleshoot Zund Cutter, demonstrating a proactive approach in identifying and resolving issues. -Follow safe operating procedures and all safety rules and guidelines. -Selects, installs, sets, positions and aligns machine adjustments and inputs to maximize quality and productivity. -Selects available jobs in queue to balance meeting customer demands with production efficiency. -Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines. -Measures product dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation and performs quality inspection of finished product.

Pay: $19.00-$19.01 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
