We are looking for Holistic Care Coordinator to join our team of exceptional care providers. - **WHAT WE DO**_ Lions Housing Centres operates within our community to provide a comfortable, home-like atmosphere for over 700 Residents through various housing opportunities, including Independent Living, Supportive Housing, and the Personal Care Centre. Our vision statement is "_**To care for all and to create a healthy and vibrant community" **_and we would not be able to promote our goal without the skills and abilities, and compassion of our dedicated staff. - **ABOUT THE POSITION**_ Reporting to the Recreation Manager, this position is responsible as a key member of the interdisciplinary team to provide the highest quality of Holistic support to Residents, Family, and Staff within a team approach. - **RESPONSIBILITIES**_**: - To become an active integral team member from Resident admission to discharge. - Work in harmony with Social Worker and Floor Staff when Family dynamics occur which require intervention. - Recruit Volunteers who will assist with one to one compassionate visits and other needs as assigned. - To ensure church services are provided with community clergy according to resident dominations and individual needs. - To provide religious group programs as Resident needs are identified. - Provide monthly memorial services for Residents, Family and Staff. - Coordinate and facilitate Resident support group as identified. - Provide active support to Resident, Family and Staff throughout the active dying process. Attend resident funeral to represent Lions Housing. - Provide process for support for residents and staff when residents body is being removed from the PCH - To meet quarterly with recruited PCH spiritual care clergy according to Manitoba Health Standards. - Complete MDS quarterly, Spiritual care section. - **JOB REQUIREMENTS**:_ - Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, religious studies or a religious related field. - Previous experience working with vulnerable seniors and families - Experience working within a team environment. - Flexible work schedule is as residents needs dictate. - Ability to be compassionate and empathetic within all interactions - Experience working with all types of Cognitive impairment **JOB TYPE**: Full-time **WORKING HOURS**:75.00 hours bi-weekly week with a flexible work schedule as needs dictate. **Benefits**: - Company pension - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site gym - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care **Benefits**: - Company pension - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site gym - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: - Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
