Job Description/Requirements

**Responsibilities**:
We are seeking a hands-on Information Security Analyst to work in our growing Information Security team. You will monitor our networks for security issues using best-of-breed security tools, identifying and investigating potential security events, and resolving security issues identified as part of your investigation. Another key responsibility of our role is to manage and maintain our theatre firewall infrastructure. To do well in this role you should have a strong background in networking, operating system management, and experience in a security role. Formal training in Information Security or Computer Science is an asset. Having worked with firewalls in an administrative and maintenance capacity is required

As a Security Analyst - Theatres with IMAX, you will be responsible to:
Manage and maintain theatre firewall infrastructure; support installation, manage upgrades and operation of the firewalls, and work with theatre partner network support to integrate into their networks;
Monitor networks for security events and issues; Investigate and respond to cyber security incidents;
Document security incidents and assess any potential impact to IMAX;
Conduct security risk assessments and participate in industry audits;
Develop company-wide standards, policies and best practices for IT security;
Document procedures for and mitigation techniques to cross-train IT Helpdesk;
Work with internal IMAX teams on security, risk, governance and project-based programs;

**Requirements/Qualifications**:
Strong logical and analytical troubleshooting skills
Experience with enterprise-class IT Infrastructure
Windows, Linux OS
Routing, Switching and Firewall products (Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco Meraki)
Mobile Device Management
Endpoint Protection technologies
Vulnerability scanning and penetration methodologies

**Advanced knowledge of security tools and technologies**:
Splunk infrastructure, queries, and visualizations
Intrusion Detection capabilities
Palo Alto firewalls and Global Protect
Workstation encryption
2+ years dedicated Information Security experience
3+ years dedicated networking experience
Experience working with Juniper firewalls (SRX300), managing infrastructure, supporting interconnectivity to/within client networks
Excellent communication and inter-personal presentation skills
Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
Creative problem-solver
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks appropriately
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Provide advanced level of information security support of IMAX projects
Ability to complete tasks effectively with mínimal supervision
