**64 bed LTC facility in Barrie, looking for a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide. This is permanent FT position. Work hours per shift 7am
- 3pm, two week rotating schedule working every other weekend.**

**Must have Food Service Worker Certificate.**

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**

Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills

Daily Audits of meals and temperatures

**Dishwashing Skills**

Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, Scour pots and pans, Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units, Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, Place dishes in storage area

**Kitchen Helpers Skills**

Handle and store cleaning products, Sweep, mop, wash floors, Remove kitchen garbage and trash. WHMIS

**Weight Handling**

Up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs)

**Food Service Helpers Specific Skills**

Dietary Aide is responsible to ensure appropriate modified texture/fluid is provide to each resident. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the servery and the dining area. Responsible to ensure meals and snacks are served on time in a calm relaxed environment. Follow the Fixing Long Term Care Act and Regulations.

**Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)**

Safe Food Handling certificate, **Food Service Worker Certificate**and ASL and asset.

Pay: $20.59 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
