**Moving & Set-Up Technician**:
**Restricted to Employees of the Precinct Properties Branch**:
The Legislative Assembly of Ontario is seeking a Moving & Set-Up Technician, as part of the Precinct Properties Branch, in Toronto, ON, for the provision of the moving and set-up of furnishings and equipment at the Legislative Precinct.

**What You’ll Do**:
**You’ll act with integrity to**:

- Move, set-up and take down staging, chairs, tables, barricades, building operations-related signage and other furnishings and equipment; and storing them safely and appropriately.
- Respond to priority service requests and assist with general cleaning.
- Assist PPB operations staff with equipment and/or supply moves to and from work sites.
- Provides delivery and pick-up of materials from vendors to the Legislative building.
- Performs other related activities as required and keeps up-to-date on related skill development in order to use any new technologies, systems or processes as required.

**You’ll support our collaboration as you**:

- Follow project schedules and details from Work Orders for moving and storing furniture related to maintenance work and renovation projects.
- Participate in site reviews with PPB staff to review move requests for maintenance and/or renovation projects.
- Communicate any errors, omissions, questions or clarifications on Work Orders and maintain orderly files and schedules on Work Orders.

**How You Qualify**:
**You demonstrate excellence through your**:

- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to accept and comprehend job related and training instructions
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, adhering to the Health & Safety Act
- WHMIS Certification
- Possession of G license to drive a van or small truck for deliveries and pick-ups
