**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Workforce Development Business Development Associate reports to the Associate Director, Workforce Development and Training, and is responsible for the Institute's business expansion through strategic sales and marketing activities.

Clear and effective communication with potential and current course registrants, training partners, Subject Matter Experts, and internal ISCT stakeholders is essential. Moreover, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and resourcefulness will be crucial for achieving objectives. Professionalism and excellence in communication are paramount for making a substantial impact in this dynamic role.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Sales and marketing activities**:_
- Work with the Marketing team to develop effective ISCT corporate campaigns and promotional materials to promote the Institute of Training & Development programs globally.
- Support research into sector trends and needs to inform program development.
- Conduct regular competitive market analysis to assess program effectiveness and identify growth areas.
- Collaborate with the internal team and stakeholders on various projects to optimize program recruitment and establish a competitive advantage for our training programs.
- Work with the Associate Director, Workforce Development and Training to identify various revenue-generating streams, including prospecting, sponsorships and grants for the Institute of Training & Development.
- Establish/maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and the ability to leverage them for new sales and upsell opportunities.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of sales leads, targets and client interactions across CRM systems.
- **Training programs administration**:_
- Monitor and report the progress of the training, development, and education initiatives by tracking registrant database and program metrics, producing regular reports, and identifying trends in data.
- Manage and maintain up-to-date information on training and development programs and educational resources on the ISCT website.
- Provide project-level support for key Society initiatives related to training, development, and education as directed.
- Develop and maintain a database of existing courses, course references, and resource materials.
- Provide support services to program and stakeholder committees globally across numerous time zones, including scheduling meetings and compiling meeting minutes.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Work experience in business administration is desired.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Highly organized and attention to detail and quality.
- Ambition to thrive in a fast-paced environment, under your own initiative.
- Thrive in a multi-tasking, team-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite. Advanced certificates in PowerPoint and Excel will be considered an asset.
- Experience with education and training systems/services (specifically LMS) will be considered an asset.
- A second language will be considered an asset.
