**Description**

As Store Manager, you are accountable for the operation of the store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory, expense control, and human resource management. In addition, this position is responsible for increasing customer confidence and loyalty by promoting and executing consistent operating conditions, providing personalized, knowledgeable service in a warm, inviting store environment.

**Day in the Life of a Store Manager**
- Accountable for controlling the business's day-to-day operations with a focus on continuous improvement, inventory management, and employee development.
- Developing a customer-centric culture within the store
- Reconciling cash and preparing bank deposit
- Attract, hire, develop, inspire and retain top talent
- Coach, develop and maximize the success of all associates
- Build schedules to maximize and leverage sales results
- Set and reinforce clear and aligned selling expectations, performance, results and accountability with all associates
- Build a team that works well together based on the needs of the store
- Ensure onboarding and continued training of the associate team

**Qualifications include**:

- College Diploma in Business or related field (considered an asset)
- Experience working in retail environments
- 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Interest or passion for wine, beer and spirits and the willingness to learn more.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $0.10-$0.50 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
