**Our expectations**:
Reporting to the Director, Transportation Optimization, the BI Analyst, Transportation is responsible for supporting the Transportation Optimization team in achieving its mandate of driving operational excellence and continuous performance improvement across all regions and transport segments. The role is key in providing the executives with the tools necessary for making enlightened business decisions. The incumbent will contribute by developing and maintaining BI tools such as KPI dashboards for the operations teams, provide technical expertise in creating dataflows, using various internal and external data sources, manipulating large data sets. The incumbent will require business intelligence, strong technical and analytical skills, ability to transform data into reporting and analytical solutions, ability to adapt to a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.

**Your role**:

- Develop reporting metrics and presents data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help drive logistics business strategy.
- Build and monitor KPI dashboards.Execute technical change to existing dashboards.
- Design, develop and deploy Power BI scripts.
- Connect data from different data sources.
- Define and design new tools by analyzing and improving on current ETL processes.
- Executes project plans for the launch of new programs, features and strategies.
- Identify improvement initiatives and recommend solutions to drive operational performance, as well as other improvement opportunities.

**The qualifications we are looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or other related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data preparation, data warehousing and databases.
- 2+ years of experience in working with MS Power Tools, Microstrategy, Tableau or other.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL is required, Python and JavaScript is an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access (tables, query, macros) and understanding of Alteryx
