PTW is looking for a **Production Coordinator** to support our steel fabrication shop in Calgary. This is a** full-time permanent position working on-site Monday-Friday.** If you have previous experience working with steel and are confident using technology, we want to hear from you

**A Day in the Life...**
- Acts as the primary liaison for resolving drawing-related inquiries within the steel fabrication shop. Ensures all required personnel have access to accurate, updated design documentation to support smooth production workflows
- Acts as the dedicated Document Controller for steel fabrication, overseeing the organization, maintenance, and distribution of all shop-related documentation. Ensures the accuracy and accessibility of technical drawings, process records, change orders, and procedural documents.
- Provides active support for scheduling activities within the shop to ensure alignment between production priorities and workforce availability. Assists in maintaining and updating shop schedules, coordinating with key personnel to adjust timelines, accommodate revisions, and optimize workflow efficiency
- Provides ongoing assistance to the Inventory Controllers to ensure accurate inventory tracking, smooth supply chain operations, and timely stock replenishment. Helps with maintaining inventory records, verifying material usage, and coordinating with purchasing and production teams to support optimal inventory levels
- Helps roll out the timecard system and acts as a key liaison between shop B and IT team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

**Experience Requirements**:

- 2+ years of previous experience in a similar role, such as Coordinator, Document Controller, or Project Administrator
- Previous experience working with shipping documentation, including shipping lists and BOL's is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
- Proficiency in reading and understanding construction documents and fabrication drawings
- Proficient in both Metric and Imperial measurements

**Other Requirements**:

- Must have own transportation as facility is not currently transit accessible
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and be resourceful.
- Ability to work independently or within a collaborative team
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated ability to produce high quality work
