At British Swim School we strive to teach safe and fun lessons for all ages We are a team of people who want to help save lives one step at a time through our amazing program As a British Swim School swim instructor, you will help us achieve this goal

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Instruct swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School regulations
- Provides fun and safe swimming lessons
- Help British Swim School educate the importance of water survival skills
- Supports the aquatics team by being a positive team member
- Complete all training as requested by the Aquatics Manager
- Be on time for your shift
- Be prepared for the pool and wear British Swim School uniform
- Report to the Aquatics Manager and Franchise Owner
- Smile and have fun

**Qualifications**
- You have a deep understanding and a passion for the sport of swimming
- Must be 16 years old or older
- Caring and compassionate for children and adults
- Standard First Aid with CPR-C Certificate
- National Lifeguard Certificate
- You do not need to have a swim instructor certificate. We will train you

**About Us**:
Since 1981, British Swim School has focused on teaching water survival skills to children as young as three months old and working towards stroke development and endurance. We want to help children fall in love with the sport of swimming to help prevent the continuing of drownings. As drownings are the leading cause of accidental deaths in children ages 1-4 years old.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
