**PURPOSE**:
Processing a high volume of customer requests encompassing pricing, customer service, and account management. Duties include but not limited to:
**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Strategically buy, price, and prepare freight quotes including Truckload, LTL, Flatbed, Over-Dimensional, Container Drayage, Port to Door, and Specialized Equipment.
- Price project request and provide our customers with innovative, cost-effective solutions; research, source carriers, negotiate pricing.
- Develop an understanding of market conditions for the North American carrier network including lane costs, capacity, disruptions, and key trade lanes.
- Rate and capacity negotiations with carriers.
- Participate in sourcing carriers for new and existing business.
- Assist with streamlining the pricing and carrier database and ensuring it is up to date.
- Develop customer relationships to increase sales and help grow the Proactive brand.
- Achieving individual, team, and company goals on a monthly / yearly basis.
- Working as a team in a positive manner to maximize effectiveness.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 3+ years 3PL transportation experience

**LANGUAGE: English**

**COMPUTER: Advanced Microsoft Office Software, Outlook**

**PERSONAL**:

- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Strong communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong knowledge of North American geography.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, tactical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
