**SMT OPERATOR**

OCM has an immediate need for a few SMT Line Operators to join our production team.

This is a great opportunity to learn news skills, be a part of a great team and work steady hours.

If you don’t have any experience, don’t worry about it We provide all the training you’ll need.

**Main Duties**:
Follow OCM Manufacturing assembly procedures and instructions.

Accurately set up components onto feeders prior to loading tables onto placement machines, adjust set ups in software.

Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines to position and solder prescribed components on printed circuit boards.

Manually place components onto PCB’s, requires good dexterity and fine motor skills.

As you develop your skills and complete your training you may be required to perform other duties not listed above.

**Qualifications**:
Completion of secondary school diploma.

Familiarity with IPC-610 is an asset.

Experience with Siemens pick and place machines is an asset.

**Skills**:
Must have good command of the English language.

Ability to make quick, sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Mechanical aptitude is an asset.

Computer skills are required.
